Sue Johnson is a native Montanan. She moved from Big Timber, Montana to the Plains/Paradise area more than 30 years ago, where she finished raising her family.
Sue is married to Steve Johnson. Now retired, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their grandchildren, embracing the joys of family life.
As a member of CNSC, Sue feels fortunate to contribute to a wonderful organization. She is grateful to be part of efforts that support people in the community who are fighting cancer, helping to make a positive difference in their lives.
Sherryl is a 19+ year survivor of colon cancer. She went through 10 cycles of chemo and knew that as a survivor she wanted to help others going through cancer treatment. She has been a board member for over seven years, and has lived in Plains since 2014. Sherryl is married to Tom, her husband for 50+ years, and has two children and six grandchildren.
Karin Stoltz and her husband, a Montana native, decided to move to Plains, Montana, fifteen years ago. Their move was inspired by her husband's desire to return to his roots and his passion for ranching and farming. She is dedicated to community service, volunteering as treasurer for both the Cancer Network of Sanders County and the Clark Fork Valley Hospital Foundation. Cancer has had a profound impact on her family and friends; she believes that any contribution helps ease those burdens.
She enjoys spending time at home and in the garden, and she lovingly provides daycare for her grandchildren, a 21-month-old grandson and an 11-year-old granddaughter.
Born and raised in Montana, Ronda Wakefield moved to Thompson Falls in 2017. Her career/professional time has been spent in the human resources arena, while her personal time is typically spent crafting, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. In recent years, two events shaped her perspective: receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in 2023 and being awarded the Montana HR Leader of the Year award in 2024. Her focus is on continuing to work with and support people through a human resource lens, as well as during their cancer journey. Being a member of the CNSC is an incredible honor!
Dacy Holland is a lifelong resident of Sanders County. She is married and the proud mother of two grown children, as well as grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren. Her deep roots in the community have shaped her commitment to many local causes including the Cancer Network Sanders County. Having lost three close family members and several dear friends to cancer, Dacy brings personal passion to her work with CNSC.
